- Morris Listul, born November 1, 1922, to Martin K. and Jennie (Halvorson) Listul, of Hazel Run, was one of seven children. Baptized and confirmed at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
On March 9, 1947, he married Audrey Anderson of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. To this union, six children were born: Glenn, Bruce, Marlys, Sandra, Keith, and Annette.
He farmed all his life on the Listul homestead near Hazel Run.
He passed away at the Veteran's Hospital in Minneapolis on March 1, 1977.
Survivors are his wife, Audrey of Hazel Run; son Glenn of St. Cloud, Minnesota; son Bruce of Champlin, Minnesota; daughter Marlys of Burlington, North Dakota; daughter Sandra of St. Paul, Minnesota; son Keith of Hazel Run; daughter Annette of Willmar, Minnesota; three grandchildren; his mother, Jennie Listul Greseth of Hazel Run; one brother, Walter of Clarkfield; three sisters: Mrs. Elvina Gustafson of Golden Valley, Mrs. Grant (Inez) Greseth of Hanley Falls, and Mrs. Al (Doris) Sandlin of Detroit, Michigan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
