She maintained contact with this family for many years after returning to Hazel Run.
Inez married Grant Greseth on December 2, 1939, at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church. They were the parents of four children: David, George, Harold and Jean.
Inez and Grant bought their farm in 1941 and lived there until they moved to Granite Ridge Apartments in Granite Falls, Minnesota, in 1999. Grant preceded Inez in death on December 24, 2002. For the past three years, Inez was a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota.

In Arizona she learned to weave/crotchet lawn chairs, a hobby that she especially enjoyed. Many of the chairs she created are still in use today. Inez and Grant loved spending winters in Arizona, which they did for 16 years.
